Council For Technical Education and Vocational Training
Narayani Polytechnic Institute
Bharatpur - 10, Chitwan
Ladies and Gentlemen Dear Students, Industry Representatives, and Faculty Members, As the principal of this prestigious constituent institute of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Narayani Polytechnic Institute (NPI), Bharatpur-10, Chitwan, it is a privilege and an honor to address you. Having worked in engineering, I have a strong commitment to improving technical education and bolstering Nepal's TVET industry.
I stand before you today with a clear vision: to make our school a center of excellence that generates graduates who are capable, moral, and prepared for the workforce and who can make significant contributions to the advancement of the country through the constant update of our infrastructure, training techniques, and curricula.
Nepal's TVET industry is at a pivotal juncture. Even if there have been many notable advancements over the years, we must recognize the obstacles that still influence our work, such as changing industry demands, restricted access and inclusivity, insufficient training resources, perception and social acceptance, and weak industry ties. Despite these obstacles, there are numerous and exciting prospects in front of us, including the high need for skilled human resources, policy support and reform initiatives, program expansion chances, technology integration, and the entrepreneurial potential of Nepali youth.
In my capacity as principal, I reiterate my dedication to making this institution a model TVET facility in Nepal. Modernizing labs, workshops, and training facilities; bolstering industry partnerships for internships, apprenticeships, and jobs; improving instructors' and trainers' professional development; encouraging inclusivity and expanding access for underprivileged communities; ensuring practical, competency-based, and market-oriented training; and instilling discipline, ethical values, and creativity in students are some of our top priorities.
Our goal is to generate graduates who can compete both domestically and internationally.
Dear coworkers and students, the path ahead will call for cooperation, dedication, and teamwork. I am sure that we can turn obstacles into opportunities and propel our school to new heights with the help of our academics, industry partners, stakeholders, and the community.
Together, let's create a future in which technical education is accepted, valued, and acknowledged as a key component of Nepal's social and economic advancement.
Thanks and Best Regards
Er.Bigyan Adhikari
